By Jeff Gulley
Its been pretty smooth sailing for the Osawatomie baseball team early in the season.
After two blow-out wins over Anderson County, the Trojans topped Central Heights on the road 20-2 and 11-1 on April 6.
Brant Johnson got the win on game one with help from an explosive Trojan offense.
Osawatomie scored 11 runs in the first inning. Chance Sinclair homered in the inning and scored twice along with Seth Jones and Garrett Allen. Austin Chisam homered in the second inning.
Sinclair was 4-5 with three runs scored in the game. Every player in the lineup scored.
In game two, Osawatomie led 3-0 after one inning and scored eight runs in the final two innings. Chisam was 2-3 with two runs scored.
The Trojans traveled to Raytown, Mo., to play Kansas City East Christian Friday night and won both games of a doubleheader. Stats for those games were not available at press time.
