Kueser Runs To Eighth-Place Finish At Wellsville

Doug Kueser finished in eighth place Thursday at the Wellsville cross country meet and the Trojan boys’ team took fourth place.
Kueser ran a time of 18:39. Nick Lewis was 15th finishing with a time of 18:58 and Grant Maimer was 18th with a time of 19:12.
Rounding out the varsity team was D.J. Hollman in 27th place, Jerrod Bechtel in 42nd, Devon Dozier in 45th and Chance Jolly in 48th place.
In the girls’ varsity race, Audry Wilson was 37th and Daphne Lofing was 40th.
Megan Higdon finished second in the girls’ junior varsity race with a time of 19:50 and Jillian Marcum was ninth with a time of 22:18. Lydia Cannon was 14th and Tabitha Diediker was 14th.
Andy Cornelius was 11th in the boys’ junior varsity race. Baily Poage was 22nd and Brandon Pace was 24th.
The cross country team will run at Prairie View Thursday night.
