Food Pantry Moving To New Location In October

The Osawatomie Food Pantry is moving and will be in service at the new locating in October.

Coordinator Bill Butler said the Food Pantry will still be open at the First United Methodist Church today (Sept. 28) but items will be moved to the new location at 811 Sixth Street and open on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

The Osawatomie Ministerial Alliance approved the move earlier this month and Butler said the new space will be easier for patrons to access.

He went on to say the food pantry is running short on items and donations at the new location would be appreciated.
