Swim Team Takes Second At Coffeyville

The Osawatomie/Paola boys’ swim team took second at Coffeyville Saturday in the first meet of the season.

Jesse Prue took first in the 50-free with a time of 24.15, good enough to qualify for the state meet.

Also taking first place was Ben Dorsett in the 200-free with a time of 2:13. Grant Maimer was first in the 100-free with a time of 56.55. The 400-relay team was first with a time of 4:15.31. Swimming the relay were Marcus Rademacher, Prue, Maimer and Dorsett.

Prue was second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:11.10. The 200 medley relay team of Ben Abel, Maimer, Alex Cochrane and Prue were second with a time of 2:04.20.

The 200 free relay team of Patrick Kennedy, Bailey Poage, Dorsett and Maimer took third. Abel was third in the 100 breast with a time of 1:26.08.
