Elks Lodge To Host Gun and Knife Show

Osawatomie Elks Lodge No. 921 will host a gun and knife show the weekend of Sept. 18-19 at City Auditorium, 425 Main St.

The show will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 18 and 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 19. The event will coincide with the community’s annual Freedom Festival that weekend in John Brown Memorial State Park.

Eighty tables are available for rent at $20 each for interested exhibitors. No flea market items or controversial material will be allowed. Dealers must furnish table covering, and tables must be 100 percent firearms, knives and hunting and shooting equipment.

Firearms collectors, hunters or competitive shooters will find something to meet their needs at this annual show. Food and drinks also will be available.
