Two Trojans Earn Pioneer League Volleyball Honors

Two Trojans earned Pioneer League volleyball honors.

Osawatomie sophomore Tayler Soucie led the Trojans in kills and blocks and earned Pioneer League first-team honors.

Brianna Crain finished her senior campaign with an all-league honorable mention selection.

Rounding out the first team were Paige Rockers, a senior from Anderson County, Chelsea Beckman, a senior from Jayhawk-Linn; Marissa Cox, a senior from Central Heights; Kristen Patton, a junior from Wellsville; and Karly Schulte, a senior from Central Heights.

On the second team were Anderson County sophomore Jamie Mersman; Madison Bruner, a Jayhawk-Linn senior; Maggie Cotter, a senior; and Kaitlyn Horstick, a junior both from Central Heights; Emily Feldman, a Prairie View sophomore; and Katelyn Barthol, a senior from Wellville.

Earning honorable mention honors were Jayhawk-Linn seniors Shelby Krull and Jessica Walters; Cecila Wuertz, a junior from Central Heights; and Ashley Owens, a senior from Prairie View.

Teams were selected by Pioneer League coaches.
