Trojans Win League Openers

The Osawatomie boys’ basketball team topped Jayhawk-Linn 66-29 in the opening game of Pioneer League play Friday night. The girls’ team also got off to a good start beating the Jayhawks 53-36. In other league games. The Central Heights boys beat Anderson County 41-20 and Prairie View beat Wellsville 47-21. The Central Heights girls won against Anderson County 61-42 and Wellsville beat Prairie View 51-34. Osawatomie plays host to Wellsville Friday night. Central Heights is at Prairie View and Jayhawk-Linn is at Anderson County.
