Trojans Heading To Highland For Football

Seth Jones, Kody Medina and Alex Stookey will continue their football careers at Highland Community College this fall.
The trio, who have played together since elementary school, will attempt to help turn around a program that went 2-7 last year, but is excited about its recruiting class.
Jones was recruited as a quarterback after posting 2,107 passing yards and 22 touchdowns for the Trojans as a senior. Jones said the promise of playing time as a freshman lured him to Highland. He also rushed for 550 yards and hopes the junior college route will propel him on to a bigger stage as a sophomore.
Medina and Stookey were both recruited as linemen but do not know if they will play offense or defense. Both said they liked the coaching staff and felt comfortable there when they went on visits.
